A photo of an Indianapolis Kroger employee assisting a visually impaired gentleman is going viral.

The photo was first posted to the Facebook page Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Inc. on Valentine’s Day by Ashlee Fujawa, Director of Public Relations.

According to the Facebook post, Fujawa was making small talk with the gentleman as they stood among the Valentine’s Day decor and discount candy when a young man gathering carts in the parking lot approached them. The employee told the man that his name was Colin, and he said he would be happy to help the man as he shopped.

The two then set off to grocery shop together. Colin guided the cart and discussed the man’s shopping list with him. According to the Kroger management, Colin has helped the man shop at the Kroger store many times.

The Facebook post said, “Not only is this the epitome of amazing customer service, but a heartfelt display of respect and kindness. So on a day where love is celebrated, this is a true testament to why we love this city–the amazing people who make ‪‎Indy great.”
