Man catches rare albino catfish in Canada

(STORYFUL) Donovan Pearase, the owner and operator of Blackwater Cats Outfitter in Winnipeg, Canada, has caught thousands of catfish over his 30-year career. But before May 15, Pearase had never before seen the incredibly rare master angler albino channel catfish.

A guest fisherman caught a 34-inch specimen of the rare fish on May 15.

Pearase shared several pictures of the fish on Facebook, and wrote, "I may have seen 15 to 20,000 cats in my life and not one that looked anything like this.”

This video shows the catfish as it gets caught.
