BATON ROUGE, La. - A Louisiana woman’s Facebook post about a kindhearted stranger has gone viral.
Courtney Burkett Berdon took to social media on Saturday after a Fed Ex driver offered to pray for her mother.
“He saw my mom was hurting. He stopped and asked if he could pray for her,” Berdon said. “And there they stood… together in prayer.”
Berdon lives in Baton Rouge and included the hashtag “Louisiana strong” in her post.
“In the midst of tragedy and devastation, this is when we as humans do our very best,” she said. “We come together and selflessly help each other one by one! This man will never know the impact he had on my mother, but I know it has impacted her for a lifetime.”
Berdon's post has more than 6,000 shares and 17,000 likes.
