If you're not familiar with this growing holiday tradition, the Elf on the Shelf, you will be now.
A father of six in Utah has documented his four-month-old son as a real-life “Elf on the Shelf.” Alan Lawrence, a photographer, continues to post a series of photos of his youngest son, Rockwell in full “Elf on the Shelf” apparel on his website That Dad Blog.
Lawrence said he got this clever idea around Thanksgiving time.
Lawrence will continue to document Rockwell's adventures as the "Elf on the Shelf" every day in the next week leading up to Christmas. The project can be followed through Lawrence's blog, That Dad Blog, and through his social media posts on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
The Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas tradition that includes a special scout sent from the North Pole to help Santa manage his naughty and nice lists.
