Five cheetah cubs born last week by caesarean section at a Cincinnati Zoo breeding facility are now under critical care in the zoo’s nursery, officials said on Friday, March 18.

The cubs are being fed every three hours, in hopes they will gain weight, get stronger and survive, the zoo said.

The animals were born at Mast Farm, at the zoo’s cheetah breeding and conservation facility in Clermont.
