PHOTOS: Identical twins celebrate 100th birthday together

It's not every day you meet a 100-year-old, but how about 100-year-old identical twins?

Albert and Elmer Pfeuffer celebrated their 100th birthday on Friday in Lafayette, Louisiana. They enjoyed cake and punch with family and friends.

The Pfeuffer twins were born on March 15, 1916 in Saginaw, Michigan. Albert has lived in Lafayette with his wife, Dot, since 1960 and Elmer flew in from his home in Tucson, Arizona to celebrate.

The two brothers told stories and shared memories from their long lives. One story included how they tricked a teacher by going as the other to class when they were youngsters. They also recalled how they shared a car when they first started driving. In fact, Albert said he still drives around town at the age of 100!

Elmer has three children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Albert has three children, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
