Masked armed robber strikes store owner in DeKalb County
A masked armed man is on the run after a robbery at a store, according to DeKalb County Police.
The incident happened April 7 after Peter's Food Mart closed on Memorial Drive. Muzahidul Khan spoke with FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell.
He said a masked man in a hoodie held him up at gunpoint outside the store when he tried to leave and deposit money in the bank.
Surveillance footage shows the encounter. Khan said the man shoved him back into the store then onto the floor, before making off his wallet and cash.
"He said he was going to shoot me and I thought that was my last day," Khan told Mitchell.
Khan wasn't hurt in the incident.
