A Marietta man could face life in prison after a jury convicted him of killing a taxi driver in 2015.

It only took a Cobb County jury an hour to convict Justin Graves of killing Michael Bemus.

Graves shot and killed Bemus after he gave Graves a ride.

Prosecutors said Graves took money from Bemus and paid the bill on his extended stay motel room.

Senior Cobb County Superior Court Judge Adele Grubbs will sentence graves Thursday.
