Man sentenced for shooting U.S. Marshal

A federal judge has sentenced an Atlanta man to 30 years behind bars for shooting a U.S. Marshal.

According to officials, Titus Bates opened fire on marshals as they tried to make their way into his home in 2013.

They said Bates fired twice hitting one officer in the leg.

Bates was sentenced to 30 years in prison plus 3 years supervised release for the crime.
