Man convicted for driving into U.S. Marshal in Atlanta

A man has been convicted after driving into a U.S. Marshal in Atlanta who trying to arrest him.

Shusta Gumbs was wanted on an active warrant when they spotted him in the West End neighborhood in 2016.

When authorities ordered him to get out of his car, prosecutors said Gumbs reversed, then accelerated forward and pinned the Marshal between two cars.

The Marshal's leg and foot were crushed.

Gumbs was caught four days later.

He'll be sentenced in March.
