Man arrested for stealing cellphone, assaulting three victims

Bibb County deputies have arrested a man accused of assaulting three victims and stealing one of the victim's cellphones in Macon.

Authorities responded to the Zaxby’s Restaurant, located in the 900 block of Riverside Drive, just before 8 p.m. Friday. Upon arrival, they say two victims reported that a suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Michael Little, punched them both in the face and attempted to take their cell phones.

A third victim told deputies that Little had also punched him and took his cellphone near College Hill. As the victims spoke with deputies, a Zaxby’s employee reportedly spotted Little across the street and alerted deputies. Little, who officials say resisted arrest, was taken into custody.

He is charged with armed robbery, attempted robbery and resisting arrest. Little was taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, where he remains in custody.

Officials say all of the victims were checked for their injuries.
