A Woodstock man has been arrested after Roswell Police said he was caught on video stealing political campaign signs. Police said it was a video that has been shared on social media thousands of times that led them to the arrest of Frank Nash. Nash is charged with misdemeanor theft.

Police said a woman contacted them after catching a man on video stuffing Jon Ossoff signs into a car.

“She was appalled that he was so blatant to remove these signs in daylight and put them in his trunk and she confronted him,” said Roswell Police Officer Lisa Holland.

Police said through that video, detectives tracked down Nash who they said admitted taking the signs.

“He thought it was okay for him to do this because the signs were posted in the right of way,” said Holland.

While Ossoff supporters were fired up because those were the signs seen in the video, but police said Ossoff was not singled out. When detectives searched Nash's car they said they found a sign for Mohammad Ali Bhuiyan, another for Judson Hill, and others in the dumpster.

“He didn't remove one person's sign, he removed all of them,” said Holland.
