DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend at a DeKalb County post office won't get out of jail anytime soon.
A judge denied bond for Quantez Tyre Thursday morning. He is charged with murdering Tyrika Terrell.
Terrell was shot and killed last month at the post office on Wesley Chapel Road, where she worked as a postal service carrier assistant.
Tyre and Terrell have a 6-month-old daughter together.
Tyre was arrested at a home off Snapfinger Road just a day later after setting fire to a home and firing 7 to 10 shots at police who had surrounded the home.
