COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A man was arrested after allegedly beating a 7-year-old child with a pink dog leash on the back, butt, side, and arms, according to a Cobb County arrest warrant obtained by FOX 5 News.
Ray G. James is accused of first degree child cruelty, according to the warrant. The beating caused visible injuries, according to Cobb County authorities.
According to the warrant, James admitted to striking the juvenile five to six times as a punishment.
The juvenile victim is currently in the custody of Cobb County DFCS CPS. DFCS also conducting an investigation regarding this incident.
