Lookout for 'suspicious' man after woman reports attempted abduction

Coweta County deputies are looking for a man, who a woman says, tried to abduct her Monday in Newnan.

Lisa Osma told FOX 5 News the man approached her three times in his white truck on Shenanodoah Boulevard as she walked home from therapy. She said he kept telling her to get into his vehicle. And each time she refused, he made a U-turn and demanded again.

"I was very afraid because he had this crazy look on his face," Osma told FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell.

She said she took a picture of the man and yelled that she was calling 911 on him. And that's when he sped off, Osma added.

"I knew in my heart that he was going to grab me right then and there," she stressed.

Deputies describe the suspicious person as a white male driving a white and gold Chevrolet or GMC pick-up truck.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Coweta County Sheriff's Office.
