16-year-old Barrow County girl found safe

A 16-year-old girl has been found safe after a Levi’s Call, Georgia’s Amber Alert System, had been activated by authorities.

Melisa Abigail Milina was abducted Monday evening, according to officials. Details surrounding her safe recovery have not yet been released.

When the alert was made, authorities believed she was in the company of 34-year-old Roger Lanford. Investigators confirmed Lanford was also located and arrested on outstanding warrants.

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office said they want to thank the Hall County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for help with the case.
