Landslide forces Pickens County road to close

PICKENS COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A major rock slide Tuesday has a road in Pickens County closed down.

It happened along Cove Road at what deputies call the "S-Curves" between Still Hollow Road and Grandview Road.

Officials said it happened earlier in the day and fortunately, no one was hurt.

Motorists can use either McClain Mountain Road or Grandview Road to avoid the closure.
