ATLANTA - Teachers stocked up on free classroom supplies Wednesday at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Kroger handed out up to $40 in free classroom supplies for Atlanta area teachers.
At the end of the day, Kroger gave away more than $70,000 in supplies.
All teachers had to do was show a valid Georgia teacher id and they were able to stock up to make sure they get their school year started off right.
The event coincides with the Kroger Community Rewards Program, which launched in 2013.
