Kirkwood neighborhood holds back-to-school bash

ATLANTA - The annual Peace in the Streets back-to-school block party was held Saturday.

V-103 and the Atlanta Hawks teamed up to host the family-fun event in the Kirkwood neighborhood.

Students participated in free activities like face painting, kickball games, and a slam-dunk contest.

Organizers also used the event to talk about bullying in schools and encouraged people to make a pledge to end violence in the community.

Families and students met their favorite radio personalities along with Harry the Hawk.
