Kellogg's recalls Eggo waffles over listeria concerns

Kellogg is recalling 10,000 cases of Eggo Nutri-Grain whole wheat waffles for possible listeria contamination. 

The Kellogg Company is voluntarily recalling a limited number of Eggo Nutri-Grain whole wheat frozen waffles because they could be contaminated with listeria.

Approximately 10,000 cases of the frozen waffles are affected by the recall. In a statement, Kellogg's said the potential for contamination was detected during a routine test the company conducts with their products. The affected products were sold in 25 states, including Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The products included in the recall have a Best if Used by date of November 21, 2017 or November 22, 2017 and 38000 40370 package UPC code.

No other Kellogg’s Eggo products are included in the recall.

Anyone who purchased the affected product is asked to discard it and contact Kellogg for a full refund. Consumers can call 1-800-962-1413 or visit kelloggs.com
