Jury selection underway after mistrial in murder of city council woman's nephew
ATLANTA - Jury selection is underway again for the three men accused of killing Atlanta mayoral candidate and city council member, Keisha Lance Bottom's nephew.
A judge declared a mistrial in August after two jurors admitted they conducted their own investigations into Darrius Bottoms' murder.
One juror asked a police officer about fingerprint evidence.
The other confessed to driving by the scene of the crime.
Police said the three mistook Bottoms' for a rival gang member when they shot him in southwest Atlanta in 2014.
