Jenn Hobby's daughter undergoes round two of chemotherapy

Jenn Hobby shared this adorable photo of baby Reese at CHOA with FOX 5 Digital Producer Katie Muse.

Please keep longtime Atlanta radio personality Jenn Hobby and her family in your thoughts this week as her daughter heads back to the hospital for additional cancer treatment.

Hobby, a co-host on "The Jeff & Jenn Show" on Star 94.1 said on the air Tuesday morning her youngest child, Reese, is returning to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to undergo her second round of chemotherapy.

Reese, just 11-months-old, was diagnosed with cancer last month after doctors discovered a plum-sized tumor in her abdomen. She began treatment at CHOA immediately.

Following her first found of chemotherapy, Hobby told FOX 5 her “lil angel” was responding well.

“She’s still very active, smiling, waving and currently dancing with her sister,” Hobby said last month. "We are very optimistic and hopeful."

Tuesday morning on The Jeff & Jenn Show, Hobby talked about Reese's return to CHOA.

"Her hair started falling out over the weekend," an emotional Hobby told listeners. "It was really hard. It was so emotional for me and my husband."

Once round two of chemotherapy is over, Hobby told FOX 5's Katie Muse Reese will go back for two more rounds every 21 days, before undergoing surgery.

Thursday and Friday, The Jeff & Jenn show will broadcast live from Seacrest Studios Atlanta, located at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.

“This is truly a gift that will allow us to keep broadcasting, while I remain focused on my family and on Reese's treatment at Children’s," Hobby said in a Star 94.1 news release on Wednesday.
