ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A street on Atlanta's Westside is getting a major makeover.
The Home Depot Foundation partnered with the organization Houseproud Atlanta to tackle spring curb appeal projects on Louise Place in northwest Atlanta.
More than 200 volunteers spent the day working outside of 10 homes, doing things like landscaping, home painting, fixing up flower beds, street clean-up, and building fences.
Officials said the street has both veterans and longtime Westside residents.
This project is part of Home Depot's $11 million commitment to support the redevelopment of the Westside community by 2022.
