DORAVILLE, Ga. - The hero dog, who made headlines in April when he was stabbed in the line of duty, has passed away due to spinal and neurological issues. K-9 Tryko lived to be 11 years and 6 months old.
K-9 Tryo, a German Shepherd with the Doraville Police Department was assisting the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Taskforce in a search for a man wanted for numerous felonies across multiple counties.
