Harris trial: Long juror questionnaire asks invasive, personal questions
COBB COUNTY, Ga. - They are the 93 questions spread over 17 pages which will help attorneys decide which jurors will hear the case against Justin Ross Harris. The questionnaire, which at times seems very invasive, asks a range of questions from what a potential juror does in their spare time to if they ever visited a porn site.
“It is certainly one of the most extensive I have ever seen,” said attorney Lester Tate.

A long, pointed and personal jury information sheet was the focus at the Ross Harris hot car murder trial Tuesday. In the questionnaire, attorneys asked what many may find sensitive questions about having or knowing someone with sexual addition or having dated as well as pursued romantic or sexual relationships with anyone the potential juror may have met online.
“What you are looking for in a juror is a juror that is like your client,” said Tate, who is not directly involved in the trial.
Other questions include whether the potential jurors watched any legal talk shows and what place of worship they attend. Attorneys also wanted to know what social media sites jurors used like Facebook, Whisper, KIK, twitter, Back page or Instagram, just to name a few.
“Here there is information that is specific to this case amongst the things asked what websites do you visit? Have you ever been to a pornographic website that which are going to come up in the trial of this case,” said Tate.
Harris is accused of intentionally leaving his 22-month-old son, Cooper in his hot car to die in June of 2014. The defense said it was all a tragic accident. There are questions on the form that zero in on being absentminded with child care as well as pet care.
