Hall County teen charged with making terroristic threats at school

A Hall County teen is accused of making terroristic threats at her high school last week.

Destiny Kaila Sanchez, 17, was arrested last Thursday after she was seen on Hall County High School surveillance cameras exiting a bathroom right before a written bomb threat was found in restroom.

Investigators then found hand written threats inside the sophomore's backpack. Those threats were sealed in a plastic sandwich bag matching the threats found in the bathroom, according to school officials.

According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, the notes included words with "bomb," "bomba," "ISIS," and "bomb at 10:30" written on them.

Sanchez was taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats. She was booked into the Hall County jail, where she remains.

Hall County Schools said the teen has been suspended from school pending a disciplinary tribunal.
