Gwinnett County community service manager suspended
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County has suspended Community Services Manager John Register.
The suspension notice said Register used a racial slur during an October 6 service award meeting to describe a long-time African-American county employee.
The Gwinnett Daily Post reported attendees were shocked and several complained.
The notice does not specify the length of register's suspension.
