Atlanta Police are searching for an armed trio after a robbery at a grocery store in southwest Atlanta.
Officers said the crime happened around 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Big Brother Meat & Grocery on Lee Street.
The store manager Biltu Ray spoke with FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell about the crime.
Ray said a total of three young men, including one teenager, walked inside his store and pretended to use gaming machines before the robbery. He said one man stole a drink out of the fridge, forcing him to walk from behind the counter to request payment.
After that, Ray said the other person walked out and the teenager held him up at gunpoint. The armed robber took cash and cigarettes before all three walked off the property, according to Ray.
Ray said he is married with two small children. And he worried about what would happen to his family if he lost his life during the incident.
"I can't sleep. I've been crying," Ray told Mitchell. I told him, 'please, leave me alone. Please, don't shoot me."
