The "Georgians First Committee" is made up of 41 people with varying backgrounds.

"We're bringing them – some from the Secretary of State's Office, some from other parts of government and some from the private sector and other places – to make sure that we fulfill our promises and work hard for the people of this state," said Kemp.  "That is the biggest thing that I have on my plate."

The list includes former Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price, Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds and Public Service Commissioner Tricia Pridemore.

Kemp said his first priorities as governor will be to maintain the state's growing economy, improve healthcare and strengthen rural Georgia.

The governor-elect did not want to comment on the news that his opponent, Democrat Stacey Abrams, plans to file a lawsuit over the management of the election. Abrams admitted defeat in a speech Friday.

"I won. We're excited. This group of people's ready to go to work and that's what we're going do as soon as we get done here.  They're going to go to work just like I am," Kemp said.

Kemp will be sworn in as Georgia's 83rd governor on Jan. 14.
