ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Georgia's governor announces new opportunity coming to the rural southwestern part of the state.
Brian Hemp says Silicon Ranch Corporation has committed to invest more than $150 million in three solar facilities in Early County.
Officials say this will create more than 400 new jobs in the community.
The first of those three projects is a solar farm to help support Facebook's data center in Newton County.
It's already under construction in Blakely.
