STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - People are up bright and early for sunrise at Stone Mountain this Easter Sunday.
This is the 75th year the park hosts an annual Easter Sunday service.
It started when a youth group climbed to the top to watch the Sun come up on Easter.
Since then, thousands of people have made the trek, some by foot and others by the cable car, to hear a message of faith and hope.
Two simultaneous, interdenominational Easter services are happening: one at the top of the mountain and another at the base of the mountain on the Memorial Lawn.
Grammy-nominated R&B recording artist Montell Jordan, who is now a worship leader in Norcross, will preach at the annual event this year.
