Georgia Tech students killed last month remembered

TUCKER, Ga. - Family and friends of Scout Schultz celebrated the life of the Georgia Tech student on Sunday.

The 21-year-old was shot and killed by a campus police officer during a confrontation with police last month.

A memorial service took place Sunday afternoon at the Bill Head Funeral Home in Tucker followed by the celebration of life.

Scout's family asked guests to donate to the Trevor Project which provides suicide prevention tools to LGBTQ youth.
