Georgia lawmakers honor 'Parkland 17'

Members of the Georgia House and Senate Democratic caucuses joined thousands of students across the nation in honoring the victims of the Parkland, Florida shooting.

While students organized walkouts from school, the Georgia lawmakers read the names of those killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School one month ago.

The 17-minute event coincident with the 10 a.m. walkout planned for many schools across Georgia and the United States.

One-by-one, State Senators and Representatives came forward and read the name of the 17 people killed.
