Gas prices continue slow climb
ATLANTA - Gas prices are expected to surge in the next few months.
That national average for a gallon of gas is $2.75 a gallon.
That's the amount forecasters originally predicted for the summer months.
Here in Atlanta, drivers are paying about $2.67 a gallon.
Analysts are concerned that gas prices will surpass $3 per gallon in most states.
The ongoing conflict with Syria and oil production cuts in the Middle East are the main reasons behind the rising prices.
