Gainesville woman accused of stealing jet ski
HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A Gainesville woman has been charged with theft by taking.
On Monday, officials with the Hall County Sheriff's Office arrested Mercedes Brittany Brackett, 26, who's accused of stealing a Sea-Doo jet ski last month.
On July 18, authorities said Brackett took the watercraft which is valued around $1,5000.
Brackett was arrested without incident in the 4400 block of Lowden Point. She also had a hold from another county in Georgia.
She remains in custody at the Hall County jail.
