Gainesville man arrested for tying dog to train tracks to die

A Gainesville man has been arrested for allegedly tying a dog to train tracks and leaving it die. 
Gerardo Damian Rosas is charged with aggravated animal cruelty. 
Director Mike Ledford, with the Hall County Animal Services, issued the following statement on Rosas's arrest:
"There was evidence that the dog had been purposefully tied to the tracks, which ultimately led to his death," he said. "This was an egregious act of cruelty against a defenseless animal, and our department works tirelessly to hold those responsible for such acts accountable."
