Fulton County Sheriff holds 9th Annual HYPE Youth Conference

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - People gathered for the 9th Annual HYPE Youth Conference.

Organizers say the event is meant to help young people prosper and evolve.

The conference took place at the Metropolitan State College in southwest Atlanta.

The Fulton County sheriff says he wants to help students stay on the right track so they will not find themselves on the wrong side of the law.

Sheriff Theodore Jackson says events like this are meant to have a positive impact on the community.

Volunteers say they are grateful for the opportunity to help children and their families each year.
