FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - Leaders from across Fulton County gathered Monday morning to discuss the future of transit in metro Atlanta.
In particular, they were there to talk about House Bill 930 which was passed by the House and Senate earlier this year.
The bill would create a multi-county board to manage transit services.
It also allows each county to offer residents a vote on additional taxes to fund transit expansion and improvement.
It's a vote some leaders think is crucial.
The new multi-county agency created by the bill will be called ATL, short for Atlanta Region Transit Link.
