ATLANTA - Despite a wintry start to the day, warmer than average temperatures are expected Wednesday afternoon.
Highs will be near 60 in many areas.
Wednesday morning, a Freezing Fog Advisory was issued in north Georgia due to a combination of fog and freezing temperatures.
The advisory, which has since expired, was for low visibility and the possibility of a glaze of ice forming on some surfaces. Temperatures are now rising and the fog is quickly going away.
