Former Atlanta Police officer convicted of 2015 murder
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. - A jury convicted a former Atlanta police officer of murder.
The Douglas County jury found Shawn Clark guilty this week of malice murder and aggravated assault in a 2015 killing.
The victim, Antonio Eillison, was the ex-boyfriend of Clark's girlfriend at the time. Clark shot and killed Ellson during an argument.
Following the verdict, the judge sentenced Clark to life in prison.
