Firefighters saved a man who was trapped following a wreck on Interstate 75 Wednesday.

The wreck happened on I-75 northbound on the Howell Mill Road exit ramp.

The Georgia State Police said a 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup truck hit the rear of a roll-off garbage truck that was stopped at the ramp.

The driver, 28-year-old Suwanne resident Brian Webster became pinned in the vehicle.

Workers were able to remove Webster and he was transported to Grady Hospital.
