A picture of three boys in Idaho folding an American flag has gone viral on social media.

Every day at the end of school, the three keepers of the flag make sure she's in safe hands.

Fifth-graders Naylan Tuttle, Jack Lebreck and Casey Dolan go above and beyond to make sure the U.S. flag is properly folded and stored without it ever touching the ground.

"If you let it touch the ground, it means you disrespect our country is what I've heard of," Lebrck said.

"I think it would be very honorable for me, my dad and my grandfather," Tuttle said. "They've been in the service –  in the military – I probably think I'd probably make them proud."

The boys say they learned how to take car of the flag from the school's custodian, who also happens to be an Air Force veteran.
