ATLANTA - A family of six escaped a fast-moving fire in southwest Atlanta early Tuesday morning.
The flames broke out on Springdale Road just before 2 a.m. The people inside made it out unhurt.
Fire officials told FOX 5 one of two dogs did not survive.
The Red Cross is assisting the family with a temporary shelter. The house is not safe for living.
Investigators are now working to pinpoint a cause.
