East Point bans smoking at city's parks, recreations areas
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - City officials in East Point have voted unanimously to ban smoking in the city’s parks and recreation areas.
With the passage of the new ban, all Fulton County parks and recreation areas are now smoke-free, according to a news release from Fulton County government. In September 2016, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted to ban smoking in 18 County-run parks.
East Point’s city council and mayor voted in favor of the ban.
