Dump truck ends up in ravine, but it could have been worse

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - A dump truck driver is being hailed a hero for his quick-thinking.

The driver told FOX 5 News his brakes went out while he was driving along Ashford Lake Court and Harts Mill Road in Brookhaven.

It was at that point, he said, he swerved to avoid hitting other cars and crashed into the ravine.

The driver was able to make it without getting hurt still paramedics checked him out.
