Deputies: pregnant woman possibly tied to robbery

- Deputies call a pregnant woman a "person of interest" in a robbery at a Coweta County Waffle House, as a robbery occurred three minutes after she left the premises.

The Coweta County Sheriff’s Office said the robbery occurred on June 24, around 6 a.m., at the Waffle House on Highway 154.  The suspect brandished a gun, while wearing a winter jacket and pajama pants, and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Upon further inspection of the surveillance video, deputies said the actions of a pregnant woman three minutes before the robbery sparked concerns her actions could be suspicious.

"This woman came in prior to the robbery, used the bathroom briefly and left. She didn't talk to anybody, or order any food... she clearly checked everybody out, as she came inside the business," said Lt. Jason Fettner, who said the woman was also seen texting someone before she walked out of the restaurant.
