Deputies arrest suspect in jet ski theft find prescription drugs in his possession
HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies arrested a man who they said stole a jet ski and was carrying prescription drugs in improperly marked containers during the crime.
Police took Gainesville 35-year-old resident Matthew O'Neal Ross into custody for stealing a Seadoo Jet Ski they say was valued at more than $1,500.
Hall County authorities said when they were taking Ross into custody for stealing the jet ski he had both oxycodone and alprazolam in a prescription bottle that wasn't correctly marked.
Ross is charged with theft and several drug-related charges. He was booked at the Hall County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
