DeKalb County Police release surveillance in motel shooting

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Investigators released surveillance video they hope will help them identify three suspects in a deadly motel shooting.

It happened around 11:15 Monday morning at the Budgetel Inn and Suites on Gus Place near Flat Shoals Road.  According to police, two people were injured and one was killed.  Investigators have not released the victims' names.

The video shows three men get out of a red or maroon Dodge Charger and walk towards the motel.  Moments later, they can be seen running back to the car and speeding away.

"They're definitely armed and dangerous," said DeKalb Police Sergeant Adam Quigley.

Investigators believe they know which of the three men pulled the trigger, but they want all of them captured.

"From watching this video, it's obvious that all the males involved played a part in this crime," said Sgt. Quigley. "So all right now would be facing the same charge of murder."
