Police have detained three people for allegedly making threats to a Smyrna high school.

Officials say school administrators learned about a rumored threat to Campbell High School and initiated a Code Red. Authorities did not say what the threat specifically was. The Code Red has now been lifted.

After an investigation, officials have detained three people, but they did not say whether the possible suspects were students of the high school.

The Smyrna Police Department, Cobb County Police Department, and campus police are all responding to the threat.

Parents will be able to meet their students at a soccer field off of Ward Street, police said.

"All students were and are safe at this time," a spokesperson for the Cobb County Police Department said.
