Chestatee High School coach charged with sexual assualt against a student

The Chestatee High School girls basketball coach has been arrested and charged with felony sexual assault against a female student and misdemeanor sexual battery. 

Webster Demetrius Daniel, 42, of Oakwood was arrested by Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputies. 

Daniel, coach of the War Eagles’ girls basketball team, engaged in unwanted sexual contact with a juvenile female student on November 16. A police investigation was opened on the same day. 

On November 21, Daniels was arrested without incident at his Oakwood home and booked in at the Hall County Jail.

Police continue to investigate this case.
